สองสามวันก่อนเราเปิดยูทูปเพื่อหาเพลงฟัง แต่ได้เจอะเรื่องราวนี้ในรายการ America's Got Talent ซีซันที่ 16 ของเดือนมิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2564 ซึ่งมีผู้เข้าแข่งขันที่ชื่อว่า Jane Kristen Marczewski หรือในนาม Nightbirde (ไนท์เบิร์ด) เธอเป็นนักร้องและนักแต่งเพลงชาวอเมริกัน
Jane "Nightbirde" (ไนท์เบิร์ด) มาออดิชั่นในรายการ เธอเล่าเรื่องของเธอให้แก่กรรมการฟังว่าเธอมีโรคร้ายอย่างมะเร็ง ซึ่งเธอมีโอกาสจะรอดเพียง 2% เท่านั้น ในระหว่างทีเล่าเธอมีรอยยิ้มมองโลกในแง่บวก ว่ามันจะต้อง OK ถึงเธอเป็นโรคร้ายก็ไม่เป็นไร เราได้ฟังเรื่องราวของเธอแล้วรู้สึกประทับใจชื่นชมเธอในการลุกขึ้นต่อสู้โรคร้ายของเธอ แต่พอเราได้ฟังเพลง "It's OK" ของเธอ เราเกิดรู้สึกถึงแรงบีบในใจ เศร้าใจกับสิ่งที่เธอได้รับจากโรคมะเร็ง หลังจบเพลง "It's OK" เธอได้รับรางวัล Golden Buzzer จาก Simon Cowell
เราดีใจไปกับเธอด้วยหวังว่าเธอจะได้เข้าแข่งขันในรอบรอบก่อนรองชนะเลิศ แต่น่าเสียดายมาก ๆ ก่อนการแข่งขันในรอบก่อนรองชนะเลิศของรายการ Jane "Nightbirde" (ไนท์เบิร์ด) ขอถอนตัวจากการแข่งขันเพราะสุขภาพของเธอเริ่มแย่ลงจนไม่สามารถกลับไปแข่งขันได้
จนกระทั้งในวันที่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2565 Jane "Nightbirde" ก็เสียชีวิตลงเมื่อด้วยอายุ 31 ปี เรารู้สึกเสียดายความเก่งและเสียใจที่เธอไม่สามารถต่อสู้กับโรคร้ายได้
